AAU’s office is inside the school, and they help support the school’s folk arts programming. We’ll still learn from Neil about hidden Native Hawaiian history and see some copies of photos from the archives of nupepa ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, Hawaiian Language newspapers. AAU will share a video of an abridged version of the Chinatown walking tour and lead a discussion. Asian Americans United’s mission has been to grow leadership in Asian American communities to build our neighborhoods and unite against oppression.
