Participants will create a mixed-media painting on canvas, exploring color, texture, and creative techniques inspired by one of fall's most iconic fruits. This class is open to all skill levels and is a chance to experiment, make something of your own, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of art at SOLCA.Participants will also have the option to submit their finished work to SOLCA's annual Apple Cider Fest community art show. She served as education coordinator at the Tweed Museum of Art before joining UMD's Department of Art and Design as a professor of art education.
