One area I’m especially passionate about is self-care and sustainability in all its forms for birth workers who, like me, embody many different roles on the day to day.  What we need is for birth workers, midwifery students, and folks involved in reproductive policy and work to be able to continue to do the important work that requires dedicating time to our physical and emotional bodies, as well. I’m excited to offer a hour long guided somatic yoga session, we all need the nervous system recovery and dedicated time to peel back the layers of our day to day and tap into the issues in our tissues and get into the deeper corners of the limbic systems for restorative cellular healing!     I’m excited to support NACPM through this year’s auction. I profoundly understand the work we support and contribute to can be intense, challenging, physically demanding, and of course, rewarding. I know our work is important and “midwifing the midwife” is one of the ways that I can contribute to NACPM, the public, student midwives, and those in the many working parts of our profession.
