There were shared experiences, meaningful connections, moments of vulnerability and healing, laughter, lessons, and a group of people who helped create the foundation&mdash;both literally and figuratively&mdash;for what Rooted &amp; Rising would eventually become. Returning to Our Roots is a special, invitation-only weekend created to bring that original community back together.This retreat is an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, honor how far we have each come, reflect on the experiences that brought us together, and create new memories as we continue growing&mdash;both individually and as a community. Throughout the weekend, we will return to many of the experiences that have been meaningful parts of our journey together, including guided Ayahuasca ceremony, preparation and integration support, a traditional temazcal ceremony, a restorative floating sound bath, live Native flute performance, nourishing meals, meditation, and connection circles. But this weekend is about more than what is on the schedule. It is about remembering where we began. It is about sitting together again with people who shared the early chapters of this journey. It is about honoring the growth, healing, friendships, and transformations that have unfolded along the way&mdash;and celebrating the community that helped plant the seeds for what exists today. Whether life has taken you in new directions, your spiritual practice has evolved, or it simply feels like it has been far too long since we have all gathered together, we hope this weekend feels like an opportunity to come home to something familiar. Reflect. Reconnect. Remember. Honor our roots. Celebrate our journey. This gathering is intentionally private and by invitation only so we can preserve the familiarity, intimacy, and connection that make this particular weekend so meaningful.
