Saturday, June 13 - The Summer Solstice&nbsp;Summer Solstice Earth Journaling&nbsp;2:00 PM - 5:00 PMCost: Sliding scale $15-$45 depending on ability to pay. 2 Polum Bolum bucks.&nbsp;No one will &nbsp;be turned away for lack of funds, so please get in touch!Ages: See workshop description Description:&nbsp;This Summer Solstice workshop will give you the tools to begin a journaling practice that centers on the relationships between nature and the self. You will create a special Earth Journal specifically for holding a dialogue between you and Mother Earth. After making our journals, we will practice Touching Earth Meditations, borrowed from the Plum Village Buddhist tradition, then begin journaling in response to prompts intended to assist us in opening dialogue with the Earth. Polum Bolum will provide all of the supplies needed to make and write in a small notebook from scratch using recycled and natural materials.&nbsp; What to bring with you:Please bring a water bottle and any personal supplies you want to use in making your journal.&nbsp;Optional: bring a camp chair or blanket. We will have seating as well. What to expect:We will be outdoors the entire time, walking on flat but uneven ground. We will be working on our journals in the shade of trees at picnic tables. Participants will be invited to lay down, sit, and stand throughout the day. There are indoor restrooms available. Our flow will be broken up into two parts, with a 15 min break in between.&nbsp;
