Bills on the Move
$300

Starting bid

Dunkirk Collaborative with Facilitator Support

Bills on the Move hits with the collective force of a three-man wedge driving forward as one. Forged through a collaborative effort of brushes, stencils, spray paint, acrylic paint markers, and sea sponges, this piece rejects individual glory to honor an era when players sacrificed themselves for the man next to them. The palette is a stark mix of deep blues and blacks—evoking shadowed trenches—ignited by highlights of neon-red and electric blue outlines that track the explosive momentum of the charge. The piece gets its inspiration from the bold sports graphic artists of the 1960s, turning these forgotten giants into a symbol of an unstoppable force with unwavering resolve.

BuffaLove
$400

Starting bid

Dunkirk-Fredonia Collaborative

BuffaLove is a collaborative celebration of Buffalo’s beloved sports teams, featuring Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Tage Thompson of the Buffalo Sabres. The two-piece collection captures both athletes in motion, Allen charging forward with the football tucked beneath his arm and Thompson unleashing a powerful slapshot during the Sabres’ memorable playoff run.

Vibrant blues, reds, whites, golds, and yellows bring each expressive silhouette to life, while layered paint, stencil techniques, acrylic paste, and artificial snow create richly textured backgrounds. Energetic splashes and carefully flung paint convey the speed, intensity, and excitement of football and hockey. Together, these pieces blend contemporary expressionism with recognizable athletic form to create a striking tribute to two of Buffalo’s most exciting athletes and teams!

Cascades of Colors
$200

Starting bid

By Aimee S., Jessica Mancari, & Katie Spence

Silk flowers layered across an abstract canvas create a tactile, luminous surface. The petals catch the light with a soft sheen as they rise above a dreamlike field of color—bold purples and violets, bright pinks, with delicate sparks of orange and yellow that glow through the composition. The layered blooms in “Cascades of Color” add depth and movement, giving the piece a sense of quiet, blossoming energy. Crafted by three artists with advice on placement from the art instructor, the work speaks to collaborative resilience and joyful creativity, infusing texture, color, and emotion into every careful, overlapping detail.

Colorful Connection
$150

Center for Learning (CFL) Collaboration

Colorful Connections is a two-piece collaborative artwork created by students at our CFL. Each canvas captures the creativity, individuality, and shared spirit of our students through bold colors, energetic splashes, and expressive marks.

Freedom
$250

Starting bid

By Zareyfah Harleem with Facilitator Support

Zareyfah Harleem is a long time artist with Aspire who uses adaptive head gear to make brush strokes across the canvas by moving her head. She is always eager to paint and has a keen eye for the use of color. For Freedom, Zareyfah chose under-shades of red, white blue and gray in bold brush strokes across the canvas. An eagle in flight was then masked off on top and bright colors of yellow, orange and magenta were applied. When the mask was removed, the image of an eagle soaring about the tree tops is revealed.

Liberty Alive
$300

Starting bid

By Carrie Bace with Art Facilitator Support

“Liberty Alive” was created by a hard-working and deeply committed artist in the iXpress Program. After an art facilitator mapped out each section, Carrie painted them in with careful and intentional brush strokes. She layered each color to create the delicate folds of Liberty’s robe, and the reflective glow of her torch. Parting from the statue’s traditional coloring to make a realistic flame was an important detail for Carrie. She wanted the warm colors to bring the painting to life and show liberty and freedom as real and alive. Carrie loves choosing striking images to paint and works on them tirelessly week after week until she deems them perfect.

Our City
$250

Starting bid

By Steven Ray with Art Facilitator Support

Our City is a compact piece that brings together familiar Buffalo imagery—iconic architecture, a stoic bison, and a beloved quarterback ready to pass, through photo transfer and bold overpainting with vibrant colors and snowfall backdrop unify this piece, giving it a powerful sense of place and pride.

The American Side
$250

Starting bid

By Mike Ross

This luminous and spirited composition captures both the grandeur and reality of Niagara Falls from a vantage point of Canada. The American Falls emerge as rugged and jagged, their rocky face interrupting and redirecting the surging water as it twists and turns cascading over imposing boulders. Below, the iconic Maid of the Mist moves through the churning waters, its passengers dwarfed by the spectacle. In the distance, the brown and industrial structures of the American side introduce a note of realism, grounding the otherwise postcard-esque vision. The work is both a celebration of natural wonder and an acknowledgment of industry that surrounds it.

Yellowstone Bison
$300

Starting bid

By Mike O'Brien with Facilitator Support

Mike is a prolific artist who paints using adaptive headgear, guiding sweeping brushstrokes with each turn of his head. His dedication to his craft is clear, he approaches every project with enthusiasm and a constant desire to refine his technique.  Yellowstone Bison was inspired by a love for travel. Mike loves to paint places that he has visited, and Yellowstone National Park is among his many travel destinations. In the foothills of the Gallatin Mountains, a bison wanders toward the viewer in the foreground as the majestic mountian range serves as a rocky, unyeilding backdrop.
