Description: Join Saratoga250, The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, and The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York for a powerful tribute to Revolutionary War hero Henry Knox and the Masonic legacy in American history. This commemorative event will include:
The 250th Anniversary of the Noble Train of Artillery
The 248th Anniversary of the Battles of Saratoga
The 148th Anniversary of the Masons’ Cornerstone Laying at Saratoga Monument
The Dedication of a Historically Researched Reproduction Cannon in Honor of Brother Henry Knox, the Father of American Artillery
Target Audience: Freemasons, military historians, families, educators, Revolutionary War enthusiasts, and the general public
Organizer: Saratoga250, The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts, The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. We ask all participating in the ceremony to to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle for the traditional 13 toasts, and a portable chair.
Weather Contingency: Rain or shine; bring umbrellas or rain gear if necessary
Parking: Free parking available on-site and on street, do not Park at the monument.
