Join us for the Atlanta American Sewing Guild Annual Meeting 2026 — a day of inspiration, community, and celebration for everyone who loves to sew! Featured Speaker: Camille Tagle, Co-Founder of FABSCRAP We're thrilled to welcome Camille Tagle, Co-Founder of FABSCRAP, as our featured speaker. Camille will take us behind the scenes of the fashion industry's fabric waste crisis — exploring how design and production practices contribute to climate change, and how FABSCRAP has diverted millions of pounds of fabric from landfills through reuse, recycling, and community action. It's an eye-opening look at sustainability in the world of sewing and fashion, and how our community can be part of the solution. Shop the Stash! After the presentation, browse a curated selection of beautiful designer fabric, leather, trim, and even prototype samples — all rescued by FABSCRAP from landfill and available for purchase at thrift-store pricing. This is a rare chance to snag high-quality materials while supporting a great cause! Two Fashion Shows Get inspired on the runway with not one, but two fashion shows: • The Sew Sustainable President's Challenge, showcasing creative, eco-conscious makes • A General Showcase featuring all other stunning member creations Chapter Business & Celebration • Hear the State of the Chapter report from our president • Get the latest Financial Report from our treasurer • Be the first to know as we announce the 2027 Chapter Advisory Board Plus... Enjoy a catered lunch, connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts, and try your luck with door prizes throughout the day! Whether you're a longtime member or new to the guild, this is a meeting you won't want to miss. Come for the inspiration, stay for the community — and maybe leave with a bag full of beautiful fabric!
