Sharpen your audition skills with practical tools you can use in the room and onstage. This workshop focuses on real-world audition moments&mdash;slating, cold reads, song cuts, and handling adjustments from the creative team. We will also be teaching the audition choreography for our upcoming production! Led by Limelight Performing Arts teaching artists, you&rsquo;ll work in a supportive setting that values preparation, professionalism, and respect for the craft. Reserve your spot to gain clear feedback, build confidence, and get ready for your next audition. AUGUST 12We will teach the audition dance and teach you all the ins and outs of auditioning, so you can be confident and successful. We will also introduce the characters and callback material and show you how to prepare for your audition.&nbsp; AUGUST 19We will continue working on the audition dance and focus on callback material. We will make sure you know the songs for the characters you are interested in and give you personal feedback on characters you are auditioning for. This way, you can be a pro at your callback!&nbsp;

Dance shoes are optional, and not required. We suggest everyone bring a closed water bottle. Bring any songs or monologues you are thinking about using to audition.
