Join fellow members and neighbors for the Aurora Historical Society Annual Meeting 📜 as we reflect on the past year of preserving and sharing Aurora’s rich history. This year's presentation is co-presented with the League of Women Voters Northern Portage County. We have engaged a speaker for Battle for the Ballot: Cleveland’s Suffragist Movement, an engaging program presented by the Western Reserve Historical Society. The presentation will explore the powerful journey of the women’s suffrage movement, highlighting the fight for voting rights, key figures, and the local efforts that contributed to the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920—securing women’s voices in our democracy. The program is sponsored by Anna Maria. Your registration helps us continue collecting artifacts, caring for exhibits, and offering programs for students, families, and visitors.🕯️
