Abolitionists of the Northeast, Black Leaders in the Antislavery Movement, published by Globe-Pequot, tells the stories of the courageous, but little-known people from throughout New England and New York during the 18th and 19th centuries who dedicated their lives to fighting to end slavery and improving conditions and opportunities for people of color.
