Join us for a day of fun in the outdoors! Autistic guests ages 5 - 20 and their immediate family members are invited to come enjoy crafts, hiking, boating, and so much more! We will start the day with a family cookout and games. This event is free to all participants, but we do require a $10 deposit per registrant. If you participate in the event, this fee will be returned to you upon your arrival at camp for the event. Each autistic participant will receive a free memento to mark the day. To ensure you arrive at the appropriate place, we suggest using the following directions to navigate to camp: Directions to Camp Louise C.O.R.E.195 Hawk Road, Shickshinny PA 18655RR #3 Shickshinny PA 18655 (former address - some GPS still utilize this) FROM EAST: Take Rt. 80 west to exit 256 (Conyngham). Bear right off of ramp onto Rt. 93. Follow Rt 93 into Berwick (approximately 9 miles). Going through the 1st light at the bridge, swing into the right hand lane (to keep going straight). Go straight at the next 2 lights and continue until the end of the &lsquo;islands&rdquo;. At the end of this street, bear right onto Summerhill Ave.** Continue on Summerhill Ave into Briar Creek Township(will turn into Summerhill Rd (SR 1025), then into Foundryville Rd, and back into Summerhill Rd.). The entrance to camp will be about 5 miles from the &ldquo;Briar Creek Township&rdquo; sign. Camp entrance will be on your right as you go up the Jonestown Mt. (NOTE: follow signs to &ldquo;Jonestown&rdquo;- not Shickshinny). FROM WEST: Take Rt. 80 east to exit 241B (Berwick). Turn left getting off the ramp onto Rt. 11. Follow Rt. 11 into Berwick. As the road turns to &ldquo;one way&rdquo; stay in the left hand lane. &nbsp;Turn left at Mulberry St. (Intersection after Dunkin&#39;). Go 2 blocks and turn right onto 3rd Street. At the first stoplight on 3rd, turn left onto Market Street. Follow Market street to the end and bear right onto Summerhill Ave. &nbsp;See ** above.
