Autism Parent Support GroupParenting an autistic child can be incredibly meaningful, but it can also come with challenges that are hard to explain to people who haven&rsquo;t lived it. Many autism parents experience isolation, stress, and the feeling that they are navigating a world of appointments, school systems, advocacy, and everyday challenges without enough support or people who truly understand. You don&rsquo;t have to do it alone.Research on parent and caregiver support consistently points to the value of connection with other parents who share similar experiences. Studies have found that peer support can reduce feelings of isolation, provide validation and practical knowledge, and support parent well-being. Research also suggests that parent-focused interventions can improve parenting confidence and, to a lesser degree, mental health. The group is free, and we ask that children be left at home so we can create a space for open conversation and connection. Because this is a small, time-limited group, we also ask that you make your best effort to attend each of the 8 meetings.
