AYZ Foundation Volunteer Agreement This Volunteer Agreement ("Agreement") is made between the AYZ Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (hereafter referred to as "the Foundation"), and the individual named below ("Volunteer"). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the volunteer relationship. 1. Volunteer Status The Volunteer understands and agrees that: They are donating their time and services to the Foundation without expectation of compensation. They are not an employee, agent, or contractor of the Foundation. They waive any present or future claims to wages, benefits, or compensation. 2. Responsibilities and Expectations The Volunteer agrees to: Perform duties as assigned by the Foundation to the best of their ability. Complete any required orientation or training sessions. Adhere to the Foundation’s rules, policies, and procedures. Work cooperatively with Foundation staff and other volunteers. 3. Legal Liability The Volunteer agrees to: Be responsible for any damage caused to third parties outside the scope of their volunteer duties. Be held personally liable for any damage caused to third parties during their volunteer service if found negligent. Indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation from any claims arising out of their negligence or misconduct. 4. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure The Volunteer understands that: They may have access to confidential, sensitive, or proprietary information. They agree not to disclose or use any such information outside the scope of their volunteer service. This confidentiality agreement remains in effect both during and after their volunteer service. 5. Intellectual Property The Volunteer agrees that: Any work product, materials, or contributions created while volunteering becomes the property of the Foundation. They waive all rights, including copyrights, to such materials. 6. Safety Policy The Volunteer agrees to: Follow all safety protocols as instructed by Foundation staff. Immediately report any unsafe conditions or incidents to a supervisor. Refrain from participating in activities that pose a safety risk to themselves or others. 7. Code of Conduct The Volunteer agrees to: Treat all individuals with dignity, courtesy, and respect. Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior. Represent the Foundation in a positive and professional manner. 8. Social Media Policy The Volunteer agrees to: Follow and tag the official AYZ Foundation social media accounts in all public content related to their volunteer work. Not share or post any content that could be harmful to the reputation of the Foundation. Use discretion and professionalism when engaging with or discussing the Foundation online. Acknowledgment and Signature By signing below, the Volunteer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
