Whether you are an aspiring clinician (Graduate or Undergraduate) or have had a practice for decades, this workshop is designed for all levels wishing to gain more understanding of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. For many clinicians, play therapy is one of the least understood treatment methods and one of the most challenging to implement via Teletherapy. This workshop will introduce you to Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, an evidence-based treatment method that is used for clients ages 2-7; assessment tools you can use to help determine if your clients are making progress in their sessions; tips and strategies for how to implement play therapy online; and ideas for how to develop treatment plans using tabletop roleplaying games for in-person and online sessions. This workshop will be facilitated via Zoom by one of our AMFT's, Brian Hamilton.  All attendees will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Life Source Training Institute, Inc. This workshop will also provide any practicum students or Associate clinicians with 3 supplementary or professional development hours needed for licensure under the Board of Behavioral Sciences.  All proceeds will go directly to our non-profit for program services and reduction of mental health service fees for underprivileged communities.
