Northland Communications has many nonprofit customers who trust us with their telecommunication needs to stay connected with their clients. In 2020, to promote its vision of creating quality connections with its customers, team members, and community, Northland decided to dedicate a day to raise awareness and money for local nonprofits. In honor of Maureen and Jim McCarthy's father and former Northland Communication president, Jerry, Northland and the McCarthy Family teamed up to promote being "a good neighbor" with a first annual Good Neighbor Day in 2020 at NBT Bank Stadium the same night as a Syracuse Mets game.  This year, Partners in Learning, Inc. and its MANOS Dual Language Early Childhood & Intergenerational Learning Program are joining the Good Neighbor cause to raise funds to help run a summer program for emergent bilingual children who live in Syracuse's West Side.
