We chose the Zeffy site because it is for non-profits, and unlike Eventbrite, the fees are optional. Zeffy is the first and only 100% free online fundraising platform for nonprofits. All the donor has to do is zero out the optional fee.

When you are paying on Zeffy, make sure that you change the box that asks if you would like to make an additional donation to Zeffy. It automatically defaults to a pre-filled amount, but you can change that to $0. We don't want anyone to think that is an obligatory field. To change it, just select the drop down arrow beside the amount, and change the amount to $0.

The Dr. Debra Majeed Foundation has been established in memory of Dr. Debra Majeed and in continuation of her legacy.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND - Granting scholarships to the Muslim Ummah, for study at recognized and accredited schools, colleges, universities, trade schools and other institutions of higher learning.

WIDOWS FUND - Providing a bereavement gift and a one-time grant to widows in need.

EMERGENCY FUND - Granting emergency funds to an individual in crisis.

MUSLIM FAMILY ADVOCACY PROJECT - A grassroots initiative created to to support and provide education about Muslim family life through intellectual research and publication, interventions in public discourse, and by making available short-term financial assistance.

The Dr. Debra Majeed Foundation has been established in memory of Dr. Debra Majeed and in continuation of her legacy.
