(9/25/24 Update: Registration for this town hall is now closed. Please note that only registered attendees will be let inside. Keep an eye out for updates about how the town hall went on API Council social media!) Thank you for your interest and commitment in coming to the API Council's 2024 mayoral town hall scheduled for Thursday, September 26th, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. The town hall will be held at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District Grand Ballroom, located at 750 Kearny Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94108. We have secured the attendance of the leading five candidates in San Francisco’s 2024 mayoral race and are doing everything possible to make this town hall tailored to API residents in San Francisco, including providing Cantonese interpretation. Attending will give you an opportunity to learn about each candidate's plans to address issues that matter most to API residents, participate in a community activity, and engage with the civic process. Please note the following:

While the town hall's official program begins at 2pm, please aim to arrive at the town hall as early as 1pm. Doing so will allow you to participate in a community activity, get boba, and get a good seat.

Please arrive at 1:30pm latest to make sure we start on time. Door will close at 2pm and late comers will only be let in every 20min (between candidate speaking times). Late comers will also forfeit their seats and be given standing room.

Attendees will be checked in by organizational affiliation and what type of spot they have (seated vs. standing). Please be sure to only check in with the type of seat you registered for. We will invite those with standing spots into any empty seats when the program starts.

While we will try to make sure everyone who registered for a seated spot gets one, some attendees who did not register for seated spots may claim a seated spot thereby causing a shortage.

If either the seated spot or standing spot option is greyed out, it means we are at fully capacity in that type of spot. Any spots that open up will be announced closer to the event.
