Botanical Belonging will host the second of four interactive sessions for parents who want to help their children plan, prepare, and plant their own native gardens. These classes are a follow-up to our Family Prairie Experience events, but are open to any interested adult. This event will be held 9:00 to 11:00 am.
This event will give parents the tools needed to help their children grow a successful native plant garden and experience all the wonders that these gardens bring into their lives. Topics that will be covered over the course of these four classes include how to plan and maintain a native plant garden, how to distinguish between common weeds and native plant seedlings, when to cut back, seed collection and seed propagation, all with children in mind. These classes are free, but space is limited. Bring your native plant questions.

I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I have been advised and am aware that there are certain elements of danger inherent in the function of Botanical Belonging which are beyond the control of the coordinators, officers, members, and authorized agents of said organization and that participation in any such function entails unavoidable risk and possible loss of property and/or life. In consideration of the organization, I do hereby, for myself and all who may hereafter claim through or for me, waive and release all future classes of action accorded in my favor as a result of personal injuries, loss of life or loss of property against the organizations which I may suffer while participating. I further herby covenant agree with this, that no suit or action at law shall be instituted for the above reasons by me or others in my behalf or in my right. Having read and understood the above, I freely sign this waiver agreement. This Waiver of Liability extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown.
Additionally, I understand that photos may be taken during the event I am participating in, and I hereby grant the organizations the right to use and publish photographs of me, or in which I may be included, without compensation, for editorial, trade, promotional, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium and to copyright the same. I hereby release the organizations from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
I will communicate any medical condition and/or allergies that Botanical Belonging should be aware of and/or medication I might need to take during this event. I acknowledge that participants should be in good health and physically in shape as it will take extra time and expense (that the individual needing the assistance will be responsible for) to receive emergency medical attention while in the field.
By checking this box, I hereby sign this waiver..
