Who is eligible to sell/trade?

Webb City and the surrounding Joplin area/SEK towns within 30 miles of Webb City.

What are the rules?

-Pay a one-time upfront flat fee of $25 (non-refundable).

• • Fee goes toward our WIC program.
• Participant must complete the attached form.
• Participant's garden will be visited and inspected by a WCFM expert to ensure the produce grown is the produce sold, as well as transparency in growing practices.
• Produce only.
• Cash, Credit Card, or bartering only. No tokens will be used for these two Markets. (SNAP or the WCFM WIC vouchers are not eligible for this market).
• Not required but requested to donate any unsold food at the end to groups we already donate to currently.

Why?

We get many inquiries from backyard gardeners from around this area wanting to sell their small seasonal crops, but it is nearly impossible to get into our market on Saturdays unless you have a lot of produce to sell. We are trying this out to see if it is another avenue to feed our community and grow the farmers of the future! I know you planted too many tomato and zucchini plants! This is another opportunity for us to raise money for our WCFM WIC Program. If I can get 10 backyard gardeners to attend, that is $250 raised and 25 families served!
