This Ramadan, Shaykh Yasir Fahmy and Dr. Ibrahim Elhoudaiby, will teach us about one the most widely recognized means of loving him ﷺ: the recitation of The Burda. </p><p style="box-sizing:border-box;text-align:left;margin:0px;line-height:1.5;color:rgb(0, 0, 0);margin-block:0px 0.9rem">The Burda, or the Qasida Al-Burda (The Poem of the Mantle), is a poem in praise of the Prophet ﷺ. It was composed by Imam Al Busiri in the 7th century Hijri and is one of the most widely recited and memorized poems in the world. This poem used to grace the walls of the famous houses of Baghdad and still graces the walls of the Prophetic Rawda in Madina Munawwara and Salahuddin’s Tomb in Damascus.
