Knoxville, Tennessee native Trisha Gene Brady’s seven-year run as vocalist and instrumentalist for The Black Lillies has seen her take the stage of the Grand Old Opry more than thirty times and perform for crowds at Bonnaroo, SXSW, & Pickathon. With vocals as sweet as southern ice tea, and impressive chops as a multi instrumentalist, Brady is embarking on new adventures as one sweetheart of a solo act.

Greg Horne has written songs and played guitar, fiddle and several other string instruments for over 25 years. His songs show a passion for roots sounds from old time to honky tonk and rock, and a desire to do more than clone the past.

This is Cherokee Hope's first time gracing our Sanctuary stage! She's an Overton County native so let's give her a warm welcome.

Asheville's sweetheart, Anya Hinkle. 2019 MerleFest Chris Austin Song Contest winner. Her songs are pulled from the hills like so many dry land fish. She's graced our stage several times and she's even helped distribute food.

He's the Mayor of Scrappy Town. You know him, you love him. Jay Clark is a professor, singer-songwriter, a (former) politician, and a helluva drinking buddy.

Arguably the foundation of this band, and many of its songs were formed on our farm. We love these boys, they used to keep us entertained by the bonfire until the sun rose, long after the whisky dried up. This is their first time officially playing on our stage.

Sam Lewis is a Nashville-based musician with a unique sound that blends Americana, blues, and soul. His music is soulful and heartfelt, with lyrics that speak to the human experience.

RB Morris is a poet and songwriter, solo performer and band leader, and a sometimes playwright and actor from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Warren Gently was born in Alabama and raised by wild dogs in the forest until found by Gypsies who rescued him and taught him to play music. When he lost his adopted family in a tragic crash on the Hurricane Bridge, he was taken in by an elderly African American gentleman who nursed him back to health and gave him a $3 guitar. The rest is history.

Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer Cruz Contreras has roots in Tennessee and Michigan.

Tanasi is a collaboration of celebrated Asheville, NC musicians, featuring the tight sister-like harmonies of Anya Hinkle and Mary Lucey with the inimitable dobro musings of Billy Cardine. (cool fact) It's believed that the word "Tanasi" is Cherokee for "bend in the river", and is believed to be the basis for the name Tennessee.

Doug and Telisha Williams, partners in love and music, have spent the last 20 years building their careers as the Nashville-based country-folk band Wild Ponies.

Outlaw Gospel is not one band. Outlaw Gospel is a collection, a cooperative, as the French would say a mélange. It is a mixture of the last people standing, the true heads, and the OG's. Any musician who's still around is welcome to grace the stage. They sing traditional songs, sing-alongs, hell even a stray hymm or two. This is a Hippie Jack's special, you won't wanna miss it.
