Barakah Bites: Oak Cliff Youth Outreach 🍽️🤲 The VRIC Cares Committee is proud to continue our Barakah Bites initiative, providing meals and community support to local youth at the Oak Cliff Empowerment Center. Barakah Bites is helping to support local youth by providing them with a warm meal they can enjoy after a long school day. For many young people, having access to a nutritious meal in a welcoming community environment gives them an opportunity to unwind, recharge, pray, connect with others, and feel supported before continuing with their afternoon and evening activities. Through this ongoing outreach effort, volunteers help with the pickup, delivery, and distribution of meals to the Oak Cliff Empowerment Center every Monday and Thursday at 3:00 PM (delivery).
