This buoy was found on a remote beach on a island within the "Spanish Islands" chain that dots the Pacific between Kuiu and Coronation Islands. We had a camera trap on this island to attempt to capture wolf movement between the two major islands. These buoys were totally tangled in the drift logs and had to be cut out with a knife, but they're totally good for dog play!

Stay at our family cabin for a rustic cabin or glamping experience in 2027. You will spend time at our rustic cabin directly on the Upper Delaware River (https://www.nps.gov/upde/index.htm) in Northeast Pennsylvania, USA in the Pocono Mountains. Springtime is great for bird migration, bald eagle nesting, or looking for river otters in the early morning. Summer is ideal for spending time canoeing, fishing, or swimming (gear provided) in the clear river and watching bald eagles. Fall has beautiful foliage and is a great time to enjoy the firepit and provided firewood. Pick your season and bring your dogs! There are areas with ferns, pine woods, rocks, lawns, or the riverfront for odor training setups. :) Any supplies or gear inside the cabin is for your use (from canoes to fishing gear to sunblock to kitchen utensils). This is a pretty rustic place, with a 1970s vibe from when it was built. There is a full kitchen, bath, a sleeping loft for beds (1 double, 2 twin in the same space), and a main floor pull out trundle couch. There is also a wood-burning fireplace inside for chilly nights, and a window A/C for hot summer days. WiFi and a landline phone are available.

Notes:
* There is a culture here of letting dogs roam off leash, so friendly neighborhood dogs may visit (at this time, all three are intact males). They usually stay a few minutes and then move on once per visit. I am happy to answer any questions about this if you have a more reactive dog.
* Due to our cat allergies, let's make special arrangements if you would like to travel with your cat (perhaps some furniture covers, etc.).
