What You’ll Learn 🧶• Sewing machine basics • Threading &amp; bobbin setup • Safety practices when using sewing tools and machines • Body measurements and sizing accuracy • Fabric types and how to choose the right material • Basic cutting techniques • Pattern layout basics • Elastic waistband construction • Straight stitching and curved stitching techniques • Clean seams &amp; beginner couture-style finishes • Different stitching techniques (straight stitch, zigzag, backstitch) • Hemming (hand and machine methods) • Pressing and ironing techniques for sewing• One Project creation  (simple projects like decorative pillow, tote bags, or apron, or basic circle skirts, or apron) What We Provide for in-class use only🧰  • Sewing instructor/facilitator • Sewing machines  • A beginner sewing toolkit that includes: • Fabric scissors • Paper scissors • Seam ripper • Black and white thread • Measuring tape • Rotary cutter • Cutting mat (for rotary cutter use) • Pattern weights • Safety pins • Tomato cushion with pins &amp; hand needles  • Tailor’s chalk or fabric marking pens • Extra bobbins (for machines) • Thread clippers for clean, precise trimming • Needles (hand sewing variety pack + machine needles) • Fabric clips (useful alternative to pins for thicker fabric)• Thread (black and white only) What You Will Bring 🧰 • A notebook• Fabric of your choice with matching 2 to 3 yards (depends on the project)  (for the 2nd class)• Thread or elastic of your choice base on the project.
