Join us on Saturday, November 23 to watch the George Mason University Men's Patriots play Ferrum College at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax.Free tickets are available for children and youth in foster, adoptive, or kinship families, any biological children that may be part of those families, and their parents/caregivers. There are a limited number of tickets and specific requirements for tickets - we will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible. Because each child will be paired with a GMU student from the Alpha Xi Delta (AXID) sorority and will be seated with this "Basketball Buddy," here are the requirements to apply for tickets:<ul><li style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Maximum of 2 children per parent/caregiver</li><li style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Maximum of 2 parents/caregivers in one household (under one roof) per Order</li><li style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Therefore, the maximum number of tickets allowable per Order is 6 - 2 parents/caregivers and 4 children</li><li style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Children must be 7 years or older to receive a ticket (CHILDREN UNDER 7 YEARS OLD WILL NOT BE PROVIDED A TICKET FOR THE GAME)</li><li style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(0, 0, 0)">Parents/caregivers MUST stay for the entirety of the game. (Noise cancelling headphones ARE allowed.)</li><li>There will be a 15 minute halftime show when the dance team and the pep band will perform on the court.</li><li>Concessions are available on the concourse - they accept cash or credit card.</li><li>The game will be televised on ESPN+, so there will be cameras there. Sometimes these cameras scan the crowd, and your image may be displayed on the jumbotron.</li><li>At the end of the game, the children will have an opportunity to go down to the court to meet some of the players and to shoot some baskets. The GMU mascot will also be there for photo opportunities.
