Get Ready for the 1st Annual Battle of The Bikes event hosted by the Amarillo Police Department (Community Engagement Unit). &nbsp;Join us for an exciting day of mountain bike fun at our open-to-the-public Bike Skills Contest! Gates open at 10:00am, kicking off the day with a Kids&#39; Safety Course beginning at 11:00 Am, taught by the beloved Chase the Police Dog. &nbsp;This is a great opportunity for young riders to learn essential safety tips in a friendly and engaging environment. &nbsp;At noon, the fun begins with the non-competitive skills trial allowing riders to test their skills in a non-competitive and safe environment. &nbsp; The highlight of the day, The Bike Skills Contest begins at 2:00pm, featuring divisions for all levels of riders: 10 and under division, Basic skill, Intermediate, Advanced, and the Pro/LE divisions. Competitors will showcase their talents, and awards will be given to the top 3 in each division. Don&#39;t miss out on this fun and exciting event for the whole family!
