Single Registration

Come join an ecological and historical tour along the lakefront,&nbsp;on bikes! You will be accompanied by members of Pontchartrain Conservancy, a local environmental non-profit dedicated to protecting the Lake Pontchartrain Basin and the Louisiana coast. Their staff will provide plenty of science and history of the lakefront at each of the stops. Bike Easy will lead the rides between our three destinations. This is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) event, so you must arrive with your own bicycle to participate. Please bring a helmet as well (Bike Easy will have a limited supply of extras). Bike Easy will also provide a safety and best practices overview for group rides before we take off. All participants must be 18 or older, or 16 or older if accompanied by an adult. Please remember to bring the following:1. Full, refillable water bottle2. Snack3. Sunscreen and a hat4. Bucktown Marsh for a wildlife and green infrastructure tour with an ecologistEND - 12 PM We will meet at Lakeshore Park and make the short walk over to Bayou St. John before beginning the ride. Please note that this ride is one-way, terminating at the Bucktown Marsh. Participants will be responsible for getting to their final destinations once the ride is complete.
