The International Youth Training on Permaculture and Food Forest is an intensive training from 1 to 7 October 2023 Kisumu, Kenya. Topics include introduction to permaculture, land design, human nutrition, soil nutrition, mushrooms, and food forestry. Through theory and practicals, participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of permaculture principles, nutritional design, and development of a small food forest. Lead Trainers:Caleb Omolo - Food forest advocate and permaculture trainer with over 10 years experience, specializing in syntropic agroforestry.  Steve Otieno - Permaculture educator experienced in Kenya, Ghana, and Malawi and nonprofit Director supporting health, education, and conservation. Wanjahi Maina - Expert in syntropic food forestry and soil microscopy.
