The Capitol's Friends program provides for the wide range of expenses that go into operating an arts organization like the Capitol. While the Capitol has diverse revenue sources, many funds are often restricted to certain projects. Revenue from the Friends program is a part of our Annual Fund, which is unrestricted and covers costs that grants do not, such as utilities and administrative expenses. To be considered a Friend, a donor must make a contribution specifically to the Annual Fund. Contributions designated to other funds cannot be applied toward the Friend program. The Friends program offers two levels of annual membership: Household Friends:Make a $50.00 minimum donation toward the Annual Fund and receive one or two Friend cards, which can be used to access benefits. When a card is presented at our box office, you are eligible to receive admission discounts for up to five people in a single party. Individual Friends:Make a $25.00 minimum donation toward the Annual Fund and receive one Friend card, which grants the donor one Friend discount per Capitol-produced event.
