Your involvement greatly helps the mission of affordable housing. The day may be hot and humid. Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that consists of short or long sleeved shirt, long pants, and closed toe shoes. Hard hats will be furnished and must be worn at all times on the house slab and when moving about doing construction related work. You are welcome to bring your own if you have one. Protective eyewear/safety glasses and gloves are recommended but not required. They should be furnished on site or you can bring your own. Volunteer refreshments will be provided such as water, sports drinks, light breakfast foods for the morning, snacks throughout the day, and lunch for those that are volunteering morning and afternoon.&nbsp;A few chairs for resting and sitting during the ceremony will be available. If you have one of your own, it&#39;s recommended to bring it with you if you desire a chair. If your plans change prior to the event, please call and let us know so that we can shift volunteers to time slots. This helps us to make sure we have plenty of help all day.
