Belly Dancing - Instructed by June Seaney Saturdays from 1/24-3/21 from 10:00-11:00 am (No class 2/14, 8 classes) Dance Studio (downstairs) Age: Teens &amp; Adults Experience the fun and beauty of Belly Dance known in Egypt as Raqs Sharqi and Dance Oryantal in Turkey. This mixed-level class will cover correct posture and basic movements that are used in all styles of Middle Eastern dance. To the basics we will add movements and styling for Egyptian music and the movement and styling for Turkish music, the differences and similarities. Practicing the movements and transition from movement to movement we will put them all together in short choreographies. History and Culture will also be covered in class. This dance style employs natural movements that are for everyone regardless of body type, size or age. No previous dance experience is necessary
