In the event of absence, members must notify the chapter’s 1st Anti-Basileus and/or Anti-Grammateus. It is the responsibility of those officers to inform the chapter to determine whether the absence is excused or unexcused by vote. If an absence is determined unexcused, the member shall be assessed a $10 fee. Proper notification to the aforementioned officers is defined as notification that is provided via telephone, email or other customarily used communication method (includes but not limited to GroupMe, RemindMe or other productivity application that may be commonly used by the chapter members) no later than 2 hours prior to the meeting/event. Emergency cases whereby timely notification could not be/was not provided shall be reviewed and status (excused or unexcused) determined by chapter vote.
