Taiwanese-British musician <a fr-original-style="" href="https://newasiacms.org/shu-wei-tseng" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">Shu-Wei Tseng 曾淑偉</a>&nbsp; returns to Between The Bars this September, inviting us to step into the ingenious world of dance in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Performing on both cello and piano, Tseng invites us to discover how a young cellist destined to become a world sensation almost single-handedly brought Bach&#39;s once-neglected Cello Suites back into the spotlight, transforming these Baroque masterpieces into some of the most iconic and beloved works for solo cello and beyond. Tseng will also explore some of Bach&#39;s suites written for keyboard.
