Before &ldquo;content creator&rdquo; was even a job title, Lisa Bevere understood that media could carry the Gospel places she couldn&#39;t physically go. On Wednesday, September 23 at 7 PM, Influence Women Nashville is welcoming Lisa Bevere&mdash;New York Times bestselling author, speaker, minister and co-founder of Messenger International&mdash;for a conversation created especially for women working in media, entertainment and the arts. Long before social media became what it is today, Lisa understood the power of using every available avenue to get the message of Jesus beyond the walls of a building. Through books, podcasts, social media and digital content, that conviction has helped take the Gospel around the world. In fact, when she and her husband established their ministry offices, one of the first things they installed was a giant viewing screen&mdash;because communicating the message wasn&#39;t an afterthought. It was part of the mission.And Lisa has something to say to the women doing that work today. We&#39;ll talk about why she believes women in media, entertainment and the arts matter, why our voices and creativity are needed in this moment, and why women in this industry need to champion one another rather than compete for space.Expect some wisdom.
