Alyssa Gursky and Rebecca Wilkinson are back to teach an online workshop exploring the relationship between art, creativity and Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness (NOSC). The session will offer a brief historical overview of how art and creative expression have been woven into psychedelic research and healing, followed by simple hands-on exercises for using art to capture and reflect on any phase of the NOSC healing journey. Together, we’ll explore creative practices as a way to notice, express and make meaning from experiences that can sometimes be difficult to put into words. No particular artistic skill or experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play, explore and see what emerges. Art and creativity have a real history alongside psychedelic research and healing, rather than simply being an add-on. This workshop offers an accessible opportunity to experience some of that connection for yourself. No creative or artistic background needed. About Alyssa B. Gursky:Alyssa B.
