A House of Mystery: Did You Know?**

Endless Construction:

For 38 straight years (from 1886 to 1922), construction worked on the house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, never stopping until Sarah's death.

Bizarre Designs:

The mansion is famous for its oddities, including staircases that lead to the ceiling, doors that open onto walls or three-story drops, and winding hallways meant to confuse spirits.

Obsessed with 13:

The number 13 is found everywhere—13 bathrooms, windows with 13 panes of glass, 13 steps on stairways, and even 13 drain holes in the kitchen sink.

A Sprawling Labyrinth:

The house features approximately 160 rooms, including 40 bedrooms, 2 ballrooms, 47 fireplaces, and 10,000 window panes.
