Ride the South Coast with us 🚲 on a guided bike tour highlighting existing paths, on-road connections, and future segments of the South Coast Bikeway. See first-hand how a 50-mile network of bike paths, lanes, and multi-use trails is coming together across our communities. Your registration supports the South Coast Bikeway Alliance&rsquo;s work with local leaders to design, fund, and build safe routes for active transportation and everyday recreation. Every rider helps move the Bikeway forward. Take the Train for a Bike Tour of the South Coast on&nbsp;Sunday, October 11, 2026.We&#39;re so happy you can join us for a casual ride along the South Coast. Thank you to&nbsp;the MBTA for providing a special bicycle car for our event. Please review the details below and complete this registration to let us know you plan to attend. If you are local or prefer to skip the train, meet us at the Whale&#39;s Tail Parking Lot at 10:00 am.<ul fr-original-style="text-align: start;" style="text-align: start; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Outbound Train: Ride Train #7009 at 8:20 AM from South Station (or points south) to New Bedford Station (Last Stop). Look for the special bicycle car, which will accommodate up to 50 bicycles. Other trains accommodate 2 bikes per car.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Meet&nbsp;at the Whale&rsquo;s Tooth Parking Lot at 10:02 am or when the train arrives, and be ready to ride at 10:15 am.&nbsp;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Explore&nbsp;the South Coast Bikeway and local roads with local guides or via self-guided maps and GPS routes from 16 miles to 53+ miles. Enjoy scenic views, history, and local food spots or a BYO picnic.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Return Train: Ride Train #7034 at 3:20 PM back to Boston. &nbsp;Look for the special bicycle car, which will accommodate up to 50 bicycles.
