Founding Member: Any woman over the age of 18 years who has been accepted into membership in accordance with the policies and requirements of BWGC and who supports the purpose and the mission of the Organization. Founding Members serve as ambassadors for the Organization within the community and golf industry. Founding Members may participate in member meetings, activities, programs, and other membership opportunities as authorized by the board and these Bylaws. Founding Members may assist with recruiting new members, volunteers, and supporters. Founding Members may participate on committees or special projects as needed, support fundraising efforts, tournaments, and community outreach activities, promote organization events through personal and social media networks, provide ideas, feedback, and recommendations to help the organization grow. Founding Members must maintain active membership status and pay annual dues, demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all organization activities. Founding Members must volunteer at organization-sponsored events when available and help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for women interested in golf.
