The author will donate $1.00 from every book sold at the launch party to the Friends of the Orange County Library AND to the Burwell School Historic Site. About the Book:In Finding Your Place, it&#39;s 1894 and 11-year-old Ginny&#39;s life is about to be turned upside down. First her beloved Grandmother dies, then her parents decide to move away from their failing North Carolina farm to a cotton mill in search of a better life. Ginny is certain it won&#39;t be a better life for her - no friends, new school, and a strange new environment. Will she ever fit in? Parking on-site is extremely limited, so please plan accordingly. There is free parking near Weaver Street Market, about a 10-minute walk from the BSHS.&nbsp; Our partners at the Orange County Historical Museum will be holding a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Third Provincial Congress on the same day. We encourage you to check out their programming as well.
