New Leaf Foods' Bountiful Branches sale is a fantastic opportunity to buy a wide range of fruit-bearing, nut-bearing, and other edible trees and bushes for your garden, allowing you to build a lively and healthy outdoor space. Cultivate your own fresh food from your backyard for current and future generations to enjoy! Select from a variety of food-bearing plants to fit your interests and gardening goals. The sale takes place every Spring. All items will be sold in either Bundles of 2 or Bundles of 3. Be sure to check!

Nannyberry can also be used as good windbreak. Wet or dry soils, and full sun to part shade are good conditions for the plant.

Fresh tubers are edible, and are similar in texture to water chestnuts with a nutty flavor. They may be boiled, mashed, roasted like potatoes, or eaten raw. The knobby tubers are harvested in the fall approximately two weeks after the flowers fade. The edible tubers look like a cross between and Irish potato and a ginger root.
