Rising Strong: Stories of Hope with Barbara Kingsolver & Adriana Trigiani

Open House for Higher Ground Women's Recovery Residence, and evening event!
You’re invited June 7th! The Open House is from 3:00-6:00 pm and begins at the designated parking area of Pennington Middle School.
Shuttle service will be provided (and is recommended) from Pennington Middle School (121 Stadium Drive, Pennington Gap, VA 24277) to the recovery residence, “The House That Demon Built.” It’s an inspiring space devoted to healing, recovery, and renewed hope. Shuttles will then continue to Lee Theatre (41676 West Morgan Ave, Pennington Gap, VA 24277) for food, fun, and celebrating the community’s accomplishment!
At 6:30 pm, best-selling and prize-winning authors Barbara Kingsolver and Adriana Trigiani will take the Lee Theatre stage for an unforgettable evening of conversation, with musical performance by Southern Appalachian singer-songwriter Beth Snapp.
Tickets for the evening program are free, but limited. Donations are warmly welcomed, however, to help support the ongoing mission of Higher Ground.
Come celebrate community, recovery, and the transformative power of storytelling and song. We can’t wait to see you there!
