About this event

This bra was creatively decorated to raise awareness and show support for breast cancer fighters everywhere. Every detail represents hope, strength, and solidarity, reminding us that even the smallest acts - like decorating a bra - can make a big impact in the fight against breast cancer. By combining humor, creativity, and community spirit. Caldwell's is turning portalets into symbol of hope and helping flush cancer out, one step at a time. Designers: Kennedy Lawson & Aleigha Simerly of Caldwell's Inc.

#3 Hoo Hoo Hooters
The McDaniel Family Eye Care designed their bra to commemorate the Champion Indiana Hoosiers. Dr. McDaniel, Dr Anna & Dr. Kate all graduated from IU School of Optometry. Kiaylr spent countless hours attaching the jewels by hand. Like the IU football team the bra started out with not much of anything and Kiaylr turned it into life with her talent and determination. Each of our office staff have known someone who has had cancer including Dr McDaniel's wife Ann who is a breast cancer survivor. We are excited to once again help raise funds for such a great cause in Shelby County!.
Designer: Kialyr Smith of McDaniel Family Eye Care

Stephenson Rife has supported Bras for the Cause as an event in the past by sponsoring and attending, but this year we wanted to design a bra as another way to show our support for the community and the important work done by the Cancer Association of Shelby County. We chose a theme of justice because that is also a cause near and dear to our hearts.

In late 2025, our team member, Rene Day was diagnosed with breast cancer (Invasive Dustal Carcinoma ER positive, PR negative, Her2Positive). Within the month she had a double mastectomy and two weeks later started chemotherapy. We are so thankful for the advances in medicine to help those we love to survive this deadly disease.

We've decorated this bra to support the Cancer Assoc. of Shelby County. We believe the best investment we can make is in the health of our community. Stop by to see our creation or vote online and help us make a deposit in the fight against cancer.

Radiant Design from radiation therapy! We love our patients!

MHP Radiation Oncology

The right side is getting diagnosed with cancer and going through treatment, while the left side is coming through the treatment and surviving. Every patient's journey begins with a moment that changes everything. On the left: Diagnosis - fear, uncertainty and the weight of the unknown. In the center: Treatment - long days, IV poles, resilience, and the quiet strength it takes to keep showing up. On the right: Hope - survivorship, healing, remembrance, and the beauty that exists even after the hardest battles. This piece honors our patients, their courage, and the oncology teams who walk beside them every step of the way.
