Bridge of Hope is the annual fundraiser for Albany Helping Hands. &nbsp;We have an evening of fellowship and gentle competition by bidding on great donated items. &nbsp;It is entertaining and heartwarming all at once. &nbsp;Albany Helping Hands uses the funds raised at this fun event to upgrade the facilities that are used to provide a safe place for someone experiencing homelessness. &nbsp;This year we will be using the event proceeds to purchase new bunks for our dorms. &nbsp;Our current bunks are at least 30 years old and have seen better days. &nbsp;This year a purchase of a table, which seats 8 people at the event, will provide one set of bunks. &nbsp;These bunks will provide safe shelter for two people for many years to come.
