Volunteer Shift A: 11:30am - 2:30pm (setup + teach)
Free

VOLUNTEER AGE RANGE: 5th grade to adults, so families are welcome.


SKILLS used for our events are below, and we train on these throughout:

- following & repeating simple instructions

- connecting with all types of people in a joyful manner

- adjusting for each individual's age and mental or physical needs to succeed at playing an instrument.

- No music knowledge is required, but those with special talents may play a little for customers at times. 


GOALS: help attendees play a sound, not a song, for simple successes that build confidence & encourage trying new things. We boost resilience and have fun bringing joy to attendees all day!


(3 hour shifts)

SHIFT A: 11:30am - 2:30pm  (setup, quick training, teach attendees)


SHIFT B:  2:30 - 5:30pm  (quick training, teach attendees, pack/load)


(1.5 hour shifts)

SHIFT C: teach attendees at the busiest hours (12:30 - 2pm).


SHIFT D: teach attendees at the busiest hours (2:30 - 4pm).

All shifts include training time, and multiple shifts are allowed.


ATTIRE: (Top) 'Happy' colors with no low or loose necklines due to lots of leaning over. Badges or designs are welcome if they include music symbols, positive phrases, or your organization merch/logo.

(Bottoms) Pants, capris, or mid-to-long skirts. No shorts or short skirts due to squatting. We will provide a volunteer badge for you.
