This Is Not Just an Event. It’s a Call to Act. ✨ Celebration without justice is incomplete.✨ Faith without action is hollow.✨ Community without responsibility is fragile. This moment demands more than good intentions. It demands action. Breaking Bread, Building Belonging is an Interfaith Iftar and community fundraiser, welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds who care deeply about supporting immigrants, refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and families facing food insecurity. Rooted in the spirit of Ramadan and shared human values of compassion, generosity, and hospitality, this gathering invites us to come together at one table — to break fast, build relationships, and strengthen a sense of belonging in our city. Not a photo-op.Not a symbolic dinner.A necessary act of solidarity. At a time when our country feels fractured — by hate, war, displacement, and deep inequality — silence is not neutral. Community is not optional. Guided by our faith and conscience, we are called to protect and empower all of our neighbors and honor all of God’s creation. We are calling on: Student Organizations Partner with us and help lead the Eid Toys Drive — because joy, dignity, and care should never be out of reach for children, especially in times of crisis. Nonprofits & Community OrganizationsBook a table. Bring your members. Show up visibly. This is a space to stand together, share missions, and strengthen community power. Faith Leaders & Community LeadersYour presence matters. Your networks matter. Mobilize people. Build bridges. Model courage. Help us raise critical funds to support our most vulnerable neighbors — right now, when the need is urgent and growing. This Iftar is about taking care of our neighbors — and refusing to look away. It’s about choosing belonging over division, action over comfort, and solidarity over silence. Join us.
