You are not only providing valuable financial support, but you are also actively contributing to our mission to make a significant difference in the lives of our rescued Golden Retrievers and in their journey to finding loving homes and families.
By submitting this application to foster/adopt, you are agreeing to the following:
GENERAL AGREEMENT
- I/We confirm that I/we are at least 21 years of age.
- I/We affirm that all provided information is true and complete.
- I/We acknowledge that Rescue a Golden of Arizona (RAGofAZ) reserves the right to refuse my/our application.
- I/We understand that RAGofAZ retains sole ownership of the dog while in foster care.
- If for any reason I/we can no longer care for the dog, it must be returned to RAGofAZ by law.
- RAGofAZ retains the right to reclaim any fostered or adopted Golden if it is in the dogâs best interest.
- I/We will pay the adoption fee in full online by credit card/ACH/Google/Apple Pay or via check when the rescued dog is delivered to my/our home.
- If I/we choose not to adopt the dog after a 21-day settling-in period, the adoption fee will either be refunded or applied towards the adoption of another RAGofAZ rescue.
- I/We understand that the $35.00 fee is for application processing and includes a complimentary one year Individual Membership to RAGofAZ. This does not count towards the adoption fee. This is a combination application/membership fee for new applicants only and does not include current members whose membership renewal dates and fees will remain the same.
- After the first year, should you opt to continue supporting the rescue with membership, the annual fee will be $35.00 for Individual Membership and $45.00 for Family Membership.
- Applications remain valid for one year from the date of submission. However, if you relocate to a new address, you must submit a new application.
- The Foster/Adopter process will commence after the application/membership processing fee is received.

Submitting this application is the first step to fostering or adopting a dog from Rescue a Golden of Arizona.
A nonrefundable, tax deductible $35.00 application fee is required to submit a Foster/Adoption Application & Fee Agreement (fee applies to both foster and adoption applications). An application for adoption is not meant for any particular dog, as dogs are placed after review of all applications and home evaluations to make sure that the best suited home for the dog is selected. Rescue a Golden of Arizona cannot predict the length of time it will take to place a dog in your home, nor does it guarantee that a dog that matches your request will become available.
