Storyteller Kamaka Brown and Singer/Songwriter Kimo Williams present "Postcards from home.”  This two-hour production is the story of a young man growing up in Hawaii, going through life and experiencing all that it has to teach. “Postcards” is an emotional journey brought to the audience via music, storytelling and dance. Join us on this magic carpet ride of Aloha! Veteran Hawaiian storyteller/ Stand-up comedian/ Emcee Kamaka Brown delves deep into the rich history of his Hawaiian upbringing to deliver this heart-felt journey of a lifetime. From the deep valleys of the north shore of Oʻahu to the fast pace life of Honolulu and ultimately to the bustle Southern California, Kamakaʻs memoir of transformation and redemption resonates with audiences of all backgrounds. Singer/songwriter Kimo Williams tells his side of the story through the music that made the era(s) memorable. From traditional Hawaiian slack key guitar to the acoustic hits that filled the airways, Kimoʻs Hawaiian-crafted memories of life, love and loss blend seamlessly thru the 2-hour performance and serves as the  concert that's “in concert” with the showʻs narrative. The music is at times joined by beautiful hula by Rona Ko.
