Each year, our Christmas committee asks the community to provide clothing, toys, and other items requested by children in foster and kinship care. With over 700 children in care, in the Treasure Valley, we are holding a raffle in July to raise funds to help purchase items for foster and kinship children this Christmas. 

All proceeds from the raffle tickets will be used to purchase clothing and other items requested by foster children this Christmas.

Participants may choose which prize package to apply each of their purchased raffle ticket(s) towards; one raffle ticket equals one entry for the prize package selected. Selections of the prize packages are completed during the raffle ticket purchase. If the participant does not select a prize package for each raffle ticket purchased, The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will attempt to contact the participant by email and phone. If the participant is unable to be contacted by the end of the raffle period The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will randomly choose the prize packages to apply each raffle ticket towards.

Entrants can win multiple different prize packages. However, entrants can only win (1) prize package if there are multiple quantities of the same prize package.

The Wardrobe Treasure Valley Christmas in July Raffle Official Rules

1. The Christmas in July Raffle (“raffle”) for The Wardrobe Treasure Valley begins on July 8, 2023 at 12:00am and ends on August 5, 2023 at 11:59pm (“Raffle Period”). The Raffle is conducted by The Wardrobe Treasure Valley. The Official Rules of the Christmas in July Raffle are set forth herein. By entering the Raffle, Participants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Raffle or these Official Rules, and further agree to be bound by The Wardrobe Treasure Valley’s decisions and interpretation of these Official Rules.
2. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Eligibility. This Raffle is open to all persons age 18 and older.  Raffle tickets must be purchased within the state of Idaho.
4. Raffle tickets will cost: $2.00 for one entry, $10.00 for six entries, $25.00 for 15 entries, $50.00 for 35 entries, or $100.00 for 75 entries. Prizes will not be issued to anyone other than the Entrant whose name is on the electronic ticket.
5. Participants may choose which prize package to apply each of their purchased raffle ticket(s) towards; one raffle ticket equals one entry for the prize package selected. Selections of the prize packages are completed during the raffle ticket purchase. If the participant does not select a prize package for each raffle ticket purchased, The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will attempt to contact the participant by email and phone. 6. Each raffle ticket will be placed in the selected prize package raffle ticket container.

9. By Telephone: Call 208-352-6565 and provide the information requested by the operator to order raffle tickets.
10. Online and Telephone entries with payment must be received no later than 11:59pm on August 5, 2023.
11. Once an Entrant’s order is processed, The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will email a confirmation receipt and electronic tickets to the email provided by the entrant on the order form.
12. The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the raffle tickets.
13. The public drawing will be held on August 6, 2023 at 2:00pm and will be streamed live on The Wardrobe Treasure Valley’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/WardrobeTreasureValley
14. You do not need to be present during the live stream raffle drawing to win.
15. Notification. Prize winner will be notified by Email and Telephone provided on the raffle ticket order form. If the prize winner cannot be located within (15) calendar days after the drawing, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited his/her prize and another winner will be selected for that prize.
16. Winner must schedule a date and time to pick up their prize in person. Prizes will not be mailed.
17. Prize winner must provide all information requested to be eligible to win, including proof of age, proof of identity showing that the person claiming the prize is the same Winner named on the winning raffle ticket. Winner grants permission for the use of their names, photographs/likenesses for advertising and promotion for this and similar promotions without compensation, unless prohibited by law.
18. The prizes are provided in “as is” condition with no guarantee or warranties from The Wardrobe Treasure Valley. The winner is subject to relevant federal, state, and local taxes and other expenses. All taxes and other transfer fees in connection with any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. The IRS has decided that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries, or similar drawings for prizes are not gifts, and do not qualify as tax deductible charitable contributions.

20. This is not a tax deductible contribution.
21. The raffle is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
22. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit The Wardrobe Treasure Valley’s Christmas Program and its ongoing charitable purposes.
23. Odds of winning depend on the total number of raffle tickets sold. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

25. General Conditions. The raffle is subject to these Official Rules. These Official Rules shall not be changed by any oral statement made by any person acting on behalf of The Wardrobe Treasure Valley. By participating, Entrants agree: (i) to be bound by these complete Official Rules and the decisions of The Wardrobe Treasure Valley which shall be final and binding; and (ii) to waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Raffle or these Official Rules, except where prohibited by law. By accepting a Prize, Winner agrees to release The Wardrobe Treasure Valley, its officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, and any person or entity associated with the production, judging, or administration of the Raffle (collectively, the “Releases”) from any claims, damages, disability, attorneys’ fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from redemption, acceptance, possession, ownership, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Raffle – related activity or participation in this Raffle. The Wardrobe Treasure Valley, reserves the right to disqualify false entries or entries suspected of being false, and any illegible, defective, incomplete or physically altered order form and entries that do not include valid or complete payment. The Wardrobe Treasure Valley is not responsible for printing errors in any drawing-related material, or for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered mail, or any other failure to receive orders or delivery receipts prior to the drawing deadline. All sales are final unless otherwise specified in these official rules. The Wardrobe Treasure Valley will reject any drawing ticket request if the payment is not honored or is returned due to insufficient funds or any other reason prior and not remedied within (7) days before the drawing. Correction of any such return or non-payment is the sole responsibility of the raffle ticket purchaser. All entries become the property of The Wardrobe Treasure Valley, and will not be returned. The Wardrobe Treasure Valley reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation if the Raffle or violating these Official Rules, and reserves the right to cancel the Raffle should it suspect fraud or for reasons out of the control of The Wardrobe Treasure Valley.
