This event will be held on July 13, 2024 inside of the Parkview Elementary. 360 S 100 E Payson, UT 84651 Please note, Dance registration begins at 8:15 am for all dancers. We will start the dance competition at 9 am. Payson Scottish FestivalHighland Dance Competition July 13, 2024 Venue: Parkview Elementary  360 S 100 E Payson, UT 84651 SCOTDANCE NW-0307 Judge: KarenShelton-Johnson - Shoreline, WADance Registration 8:15 am. Dancing 9:00 am  1. Dance competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the RSOBHD.2. Advance registration is necessary. Registration will be open on Wednesday, April 24th at 9:00 am MST. Entries close at 11:59 pm MST on June 26, 2024.3. No refunds of entry fees will be given. No exceptions.4. All Dancers must present a valid 2024 ScotDance registration card. No Exceptions.5. Decision of the judge is final6. No one other than the competition committee may communicate with the judge7. All age groups will be determined at the close of the entry.8. Dancers will dance in inverse order of entry (first to enter last to dance)9. Dancers must remain in costume to receive awards10. An Aggregate trophy will be awarded in each class, except primary if there are at least three dancers in the age group. The following awards will be given:Most Promising Beginner Dancer - Sword of PaysonMost Promising Novice DancerMost Promising Intermediate DancerCash Awards for Premier groups will be given10. Trophy winners of each category will be asked to perform at the main stage  (Payson City Park) following the Competition11. Advance registration is necessary. Dancers must enter by June 26, 2024. No exceptions.12. Any protest must be submitted in writing to the competition organizer, properlysigned, and accompanied by a fee of $20. It must be made immediately following the competition. If the protest is sustained the fee will be returned.13.
